In residential projects, we always try to create connections between the inside and the outside. This project is located in the center of the city, but it offers a feeling of open spaces with large terraces overlooking the sea and gardens in the common areas.

Els Alocs occupies an entire city block in Mataró, offering two-, three- and four-bedroom units just a few minutes from the beach and the city center. A total of 25,000 m2 will be built, including 9,000 m2 of underground parking and 16,000 m2 of residential units.

The development has a common area with a pool and south-facing gardens in the interior of the block. The residential section consists of 130 apartments of between 90 and 120 m2 with large terraces, most with sea views, and the rest overlooking the common area. The block comprises two large volumes: a four-story U-shape, and an adjacent six-story volume. The ground floor is occupied by a series of duplexes with special characteristics and large terraces facing the pool.

Facade solution
The façade marks the different floors with some GRC blocks. The blocks create a diagonal rhythm that articulates and conceals the changes in levels of the plot. At the same time, it connects the tiered levels of the different buildings.
