Zenit Tower is a mixed-use building (residential and tertiary) located in Escaldes-Engordany, near the two Valira rivers. It is ON-A‘s first project in the principality of Andorra, presenting the opportunity to design an architectural icon and reference for residential luxury in the area.

The design presented a considerable challenge given the context in which it is situated. It’s precise because of this that the BIM methodology was the right choice from the very beginning. Its application throughout the whole process and the centralization in one single model with all of the information generated by the different people involved facilitated a collaborative working mentality, accelerating the writing and development of the project.

We prioritized using industrial elements not only because of economic reasons but also how it speeds up construction. The materials and composition of the facade were chosen based on energetic efficiency, acoustics, and its integration into the Pyrenean landscape.

It should be noted that during the whole design process, we always looked for the most optimal orientation in order to enjoy the natural light for as long as possible, as well as the most beautiful views of the place. With all of this, the Zenit Tower offers a sustainable vision with maximum comfort for its residents and users.
